Charleston is a very nice young stallion, with good bone, three good gaits, and a fabulous temperament. He is by the First Premium imported Friesian stallion "Pieter fan Lutke Pienjum", whose sire line includes the Friesian stallion "Reitse", who is prominent in the bloodlines of performance Friesians. Charleston's dam is a chestnut American Warmblood (Percheron/X) mare.

Charleston is currently competing very successfully in dressage, thru Second Level. He is always in the ribbons, even on the highly competitive Florida circuit, with scores into the 70%'s. His successes include numerous National and Regional Year-End Awards in 2005 and 2006, at Training and First Level (including USDF All-Breeds First Level Reserve Champion 2006, USEF/PHR Silver Stirrup Awards 2005 & 2006, Region 3 First Level Champion 2006, and more...)
