Imported, German Approved Dressage Sire

Tramino is a modern Rheinlander stallion displaying the finest characteristics of warmblood breeding. He has good conformation, three good paces, superior ridability and an exemplary temperament.

Tramino completed his 100 day test at Munster-Handorf in 1993 earning good scores for Character: 9.5; Disposition 9.0; Ridability 8.5; Trainability 8.0; Cross country gallop 8.5; Cross country jumping 8.0; Stadium jumping ability 9.25.

Tramino has now been officially retired from competition. He competed at Prix. St. Georges and Intermediare 1 winning Provincial and National Championships along the way. He continues to fulfill a schoolmaster role with a Young Rider, enabling her to master the FEI movements to Grand Prix, showing incredible strength and ease in his piaffe and a good passage. He also loves to jump!

Tramino is easy to handle, comfortable to ride with wonderful presence and charisma. He is a favourite of the barn with his sweet and willing personality and is regularly hacked by Young Riders. His foals show good size, his uphill construction, easy tractable temperaments and fabulous movement from the very beginning. In particular, Tramino is consistently improving the neck/wither connection even in Thoroughbred hunter type mares and is certainly stamping his hindend strength.

Sire of the 2002 CWHBA Foal Futurity winner in B.C. - Tycoon. This charasmatic colt scored '8's across the board from Manfred Lopp (Hanoverian Verband inspector, Germany), Dr Ingvar Fredrickson (Sweden) and Jennette Coote (CWHBA Stud Book Committee member) - at the early age of 5 weeks.

Tramino's first two daughters to be presened for inspection in 2005 both earned first premium scores of 7.67 & 8.33 respectively.
