AMOUR AU PROFESEUR's competition career has been in dressage. Highlights for the last two years include:

2nd - Summer Sizzler at Canterbury, Prix St. George

PROFESEUR has been used for breeding on a limited basis. He is now retired from competition and will be breeding full time. From his very limited crops he has produced: Jefferson (out of a Thoroughbred mare) who was a successful Amateur Jumper and is now showing at the FEI Prix St. George level. Mister Ed will be showing the FEI 6-year-old tests this year. Iris (out of an Arabian mare) will be competing with her amateur owner at 2nd Level dressage.

To meet PROFESEUR is to meet a very special horse. He possesses beautiful conformation and excellent gaits. The best feature of him is his heart; he is a partner to ride, kind to people, loves children, and will stand for hours as long as you scratch his back. In 2002, PROFESEUR suffered what was thought to be a career-ending injury. His heart and desire to please overcame this injury and allowed him to return to the top of the sport and helped his rider earn her scores to achieve her USDF Gold Medal. He is now enjoying retirement being ridden bareback on the trails
